Open House

I want to thank everyone who came out to support the Newark Kids Code students at the 1st annual Newark Kids Code Open house. I also want to thank the Honorable Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr., Newark Public Schools Superintendent Chris Cerf, Newark Public Schools Advisory Board Chairperson Ariagna Perello, Thirteenth Avenue School Principal Simone Rose, North Star Academy Principal Vernon James Riley, North Star Academy Parent Leader Kiyonna Thomas, and last but certainly not least, Thirteenth Avenue School Parent Leader Celestine Swain for their powerful and inspiring remarks. The next Newark Kids Code event will be at NJIT on December 12th where the proud Newark Kids Code trailblazers will receive their certificates of completion.
